GU-5B

The GU-5B (ГУ-5Б rus.) is a powerful generator triode in glass-to-metal design with a directly heated tungsten thoriated carbide cathode and forced air cooling. Designed to generate and amplify high-frequency oscillations at frequencies up to 110MHz with an output power of at least 3.5kW. Used for operation in radio transmitting devices and in industrial high-frequency heating installations. Working position – vertical, anode down.
Forced air cooling:
– anode – not less than 400m³/h
– cylinder – not less than 40m³/h
