Description
The GU-5B is a powerful generator triode in glass-to-metal design with a directly heated tungsten thoriated carbide cathode and forced air cooling. Designed to generate and amplify high-frequency oscillations at frequencies up to 110 MHz with an output power of at least 3.5 kW. Used for operation in radio transmitting devices and in industrial high-frequency heating installations. Working position – vertical, anode down.
Forced air cooling:
– anode – not less than 400 m3/h;
– cylinder – not less than 40 m3/h.
- GU – generator tubes with a generation frequency of 30 to 300MHz;
- 5 – the number of the serial number of the development of this type of tube;
- B – letter indicating the type of forced cooling: B – air.
Technical specifications:
- Filament voltage: 12.6V
- Filament current: 20 – 27A
