The 5C3S (5Π¦3Π‘ rus.) kenotron is designed for rectification of alternating voltage of industrial frequency. It can be used in rectifiers to rectify voltage up to 400Hz.
The cathode is a direct-filament oxide.
Works in an upright position. It is available in a glass design.
The base is octal with a key.
Equivalent tube: 5U4G (U52, 5Z3, 5AS4, 5Z10, GZ32, 5AQ4, 5V4G, GZ34, 5AR4)
The 5C3S kenotron can be replaced by two 5C4S kenotrons.
In this case, you need to add one lamp socket and connect all its outputs in parallel with the 5C3S tube socket.
