The Russian generator pentode 12P17L (12П17Л rus.) tube, designed to amplify and generate signals with a frequency of up to 120MHz. Works in any position. Indirect filament cathode.

Can’t say enough about the quality of service. Essentally, they gave personal attention to my order and product needs. If a Soviet – era audio part exists, I am confidnent these folks will find it and see that it gets to you the customer. For myself, the tube I wanted is not widely used in stereo components these days (ie 12P17L Svetlana) and as such part replacement has always been a concern. Admit that when I found the tube shown on “Soviet-Tube” website I had reservations. But, not only did they have the tube but carefully tracked its delivery to me. As luck would have it, (and purchasing any NOS tubes is always somewhat of a gamble) the tubes I received were the best sounding of any tube I’ve ever purchased regardless of type, application, or manufacturer. So, I would say your best option for buying Soviet-era parts is with “Soviet-Tubes”

My review from April 17 2026 has been fully justified with the completion of my current order. Service and communications are excellent. The tubes themselves consistent with those I previously bought from Soviet-Tubes arrived in an unblemished package and, considering the state of international commerce today, in like-new condition. Well…. they are “new” tubes and were obviously well cared for in transit. Again, if you are looking for NOS soviet tubes, this is the place for you.
