Description

Electron tube 6S4S (6C4C rus.) output triode with an octal base. Designed to amplify low-frequency power in the final stages of receiving devices, used in general-purpose radio-electronic equipment. Works in any position. Base: octal base (8-pin with key).

Equivalent to the 6B4G, CV851, 6B4 , near equivalent to the 6A3 (other base).

Produced in the USSR from the late 1940s through the 1980s, the 6S4S was widely used in Soviet audio equipment, studio amplifiers, and radio transmitters. Today, it is valued by audiophiles and DIY enthusiasts for its musicality and similarity to the American 6B4G triode.
