Russian electron tube 1579 double triode with separate indirectly heated cathodes, designed to amplify low-frequency voltage in radio engineering devices. Due to its clean and neutral sound, it has found wide application in the preliminary stages of tube amplifiers.

Equivalent to the 6SL7, 6SL7GT, 6SU7, 6N9S
